Statement on the Boundary Points of Al Ruwais City and its Coordinate Locations

Introduction:

The boundaries polygon of the City of Abo Dhalouf consists of seven points which encompass the coast the north, a partially shared boundary with the city of Al Shamal to the east, the main road No. 19 to the south, and the western boundary about 600 meters from the maximum existing  population construction.

The coordinates of the points are as follows:

  1. Point 1 is located on the sea coast and about 400 meters from Abo Dhalouf Road. Its coordinates are (194988) (486280).
  1. Point 2 is about 500 meters from point 1 to the east and is a shared point with the boundaries of Al Shamal city. Its coordinates are (197369) (486435).
  1. Point 3 is located about 350 meters south of point 2, north of Abo Dhalouf city and about 350 meters west of the western boundary fire station, which is a shared boundary point with the city of Al Shamal. Its coordinates are (197370) (486188).
  1. Point 4 is located south of point 3 and about 850 meters directly north of Road No. 19, which is the south-eastern corner of the boundary of Abo Dhalouf city. Its coordinates are (197631) (485290).
  1. Point 5 is located about 550 meters west of point 4 on the extension of Road No. 19. The connecting line between points 4 and 5 is about 150 meters from the maximum population construction. Its coordinates are (197127) (485112).
  1. Point 6 is located 1,250 meters west of point 5 on the extension of Road No. 19 and about 500 meters south of the maximum current housing construction. This point is the southwest corner of the city boundaries and its coordinates are (169273) (484143).
  1. Point 7 is located on the coast and forms the western boundary of the city with point 6 and the northern boundary of the city with point 2. This point is 1,250 meters from point 6 and about 400 meters west of the maximum current housing construction. Its coordinates are (195834) (485206).

Notes:

1.       A line which connects two successive points on the boundary polygon is a straight line unless stated otherwise in the statement.

2.      The serial numbers that appear in the annex plan are the pillars of the convergence of the city boundary lines.

  1. The red colour shows the boundaries in the annex plan and signifies that there is no old boundary applicable to the city of Abo Dhalouf.
