The site contains all legislation in force, together with amendments, and legislation repealed since 1961, as well as the jurisprudence of the Court of Cassation, which has been classified and indexed by the technical office of the Supreme Council of Justice. The technical office extracts the legal principles and legal opinions issued by the Fatwa and Contracts Department at the Ministry of Justice together with specialized jurisprudential references.

Legislation contained in the site includes amendments, whether pursuant to its articles or to other legislation, since 1961.
The legislation on the site is the authentic, reliable version taken from the official Gazette and is published on the site by a team from the Ministry of Justice. However, this translation is not an official, legally binding.
The site is managed by the Legal Network at the Fatwa and Contracts Department of the Ministry of Justice. The work is carried out by a well-trained team whose function is to upload and update legal data under the supervision of a team of legal experts.
The site includes only decisions contained in the official Gazette.
The site provides an electronic news bulletin to which visitors can subscribe. Periodic updates are sent to subscribers by the site managers. In addition, the site provides a facility for browsing the Library of the Ministry of Justice as well as RSS services and communication via social networking sites, and legal information in audio format for people with special needs.
The site is intended to provide legal information in both Arabic and English. However, the currently available English version contains only certain legal information while the translation of the remainder is in process.
