     An independent public corporation with a legal personality called “Qatar General Satellite Channel” shall be established and shall have a separate budget. Its headquarters shall be in the city of Doha. It may establish branches, offices or appoint correspondents in Qatar or abroad. It shall be managed on a commercial basis.
