Articles
1 Article
A bureau called the Technical Bureau shall be added to the administrative units that follow the Minister of Municipality and Urban Planning. The Technical Bureau shall be specialised in the following:
Expressing a technical opinion on matters referred to it by the Minister.
Studying and evaluating the reports referred to it by the Minister.
Studying the recommendations and proposals received from different sectors in the Ministry by the Office of the Minister and expressing an opinion thereon.
2 Article
An Office of the Assistant Undersecretary shall be added to the administrative units that follow the Assistant Undersecretaries.
3 Article
The Office of the Assistant Undersecretary shall be headed by a Manager who shall hold the following competencies:
Organising files, correspondence and papers of the Office of the Assistant Undersecretary.
Receiving correspondence to the Office of the Assistant Undersecretary, preparing them for presentation to him, and distributing them to the competent bodies in accordance with the instructions therein.
Preparing memoranda and correspondence assigned thereto by the Assistant Undersecretary.
Contacting various bodies to obtain information required by the Assistant Undersecretary.
Notifying the concerned bodies of the instructions of the Assistant Undersecretary, following up their implementation and informing him thereof.
Receiving complaints to the Assistant Undersecretary, presenting them thereto, and implementing and following up his decisions thereon.
Any other assigned tasks.
4 Article
The following units shall be added to the administrative units that comprise the Municipalities:
Director of Municipality Office.
Customer Service Office.
5 Article
The Director of Municipality Office shall be headed by a Manager who shall hold the following competencies:
Organising files, correspondence and papers of the Director of Municipality Office.
Receiving correspondence to the Director of Municipality, preparing them for presentation to him, and distributing them to the competent bodies in accordance with the instructions therein.
Preparing memoranda and correspondence assigned thereto by the Director of Municipality.
Contacting the concerned bodies to obtain information required by the Director of Municipality.
Notifying the concerned bodies of the instructions of the Director of Municipality, following up their implementation and informing him thereof.
Receiving complaints to the Director of Municipality, presenting them to him, and implementing and following up his decisions thereon.
Any other assigned tasks.
6 Article
The Customer Service Office shall be specialised in the following:
Providing services to customers.
Receiving customer requests relating to deliveryof infrastructure services and referring them to the competent authorities.
Supervising the follow-up actions on customer requests referred to the competent authorities.
Providing renewal of licences in coordination with the competent authorities.
Receiving customer complaints and suggestions and providing effective solutions thereto, in coordination with the competent authorities.
7 Article
The competency stipulated in
Article 15(2)
of Emiri Resolution No. 36 of 2009 shall be transferred to the competencies of the Department of Urban Planning stipulated in
Article 14
of Emiri Resolution No. 36 of 2009, referred to above, as follows:
“12. Organising the real estate and conducting the works of partition, annexation and separation of land.”
8 Article
The following competency shall be added to the competencies of the Department of Urban Planning:
“13. Determining the required sites for the uses of public services and facilities.”
9 Article
The following competency shall be replaced with the competency stipulated in
Article 16(7)
of Emiri Resolution No. 36 of 2009 referred to above:
“6. Determining the tracks of public services and facilities.”
10 Article
All competent authorities, each within its jurisdiction, shall enforce this Resolution which shall come into force from the date of its publication in the
Official Gazette.
