We, Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar,
Having perused the
Amended Provisional Constitution
, in particular
Articles 23, 34 and 51
thereof;
Law No. 5 of 1970
determining the powers of the Ministers and assigning the competencies of the Ministries and other government bodies, and amending legislation thereto;
Law No. 10 of 2002
on the Public Prosecution;
Law No. 24 of 2002
on Retirement and Pensions;
The Law of the Judicial Authority
promulgated by Law No. 10 of 2003;
The Penal Code
of Qatar promulgated by Law No. 11 of 2004;
Emiri Resolution No. 42 of 1996 determining the emoluments of the Ministers and those who are in their rank, as amended by Emiri Resolution No. 65 of 2003;
The draft law submitted by the Council of Ministers; and
After consulting the opinion of the
Shura
Council;
Hereby promulgate the following Law:
