We, Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Thani, Emir of Qatar;

Having reviewed the Amended Provisional Constitution, in particular Articles 23, 24 and 34 thereof;

The Council of Ministers Resolution in its regular meeting No. 9 of 1980 on 27 February 1980 AD, ratifying the Media Agreement between the Government of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman, signed in Muscat on 3 December 1981,

The instrument of ratification issued on the 16^th of Jumada al-Thani 1401 AH, corresponding to the 20 April 1981 AD,

The proposal of the Minister of Information,

And the d

Articles

Article 1

The Media Agreement between the Government of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman signed in Muscat on 12/3/1981, attached to this decree is hereby ratified, and shall have the force of law in accordance with Article (24) of the Amended Provisional Basic Regulation

Article 2

All relevant authorities, each within its own jurisdiction, shall implement this decree which shall be effective from the date of issuance and published in the Official Gazette.
