Articles (1-2)

We, Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Crown Prince of Qatar,
After perusal of the Constitution;
The instrument of ratification issued on the twenty-second of the month of Muharram 1420 Hijri, corresponding to 8 May 1999 AD;
Having taken the opinion of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs;
The draft Decree submitted by the Council of Ministers,
Hereby promulgate the following Decree:

Articles

Article 1

The Agreement on the Avoidance of Double Taxation between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Republic of the Sudan, having been ratified and signed in Khartoum on 06/30/1998, a copy of which is annexed to this Decree, shall have the full force of the law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

Article 2

All competent authorities, each within their own jurisdiction, shall execute this Decree, the implementation of which shall take effect from the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
