Articles (1-2)

We, Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar,

Having perused the Constitution;

The instrument of ratification issued on 23Ramadan 1430 AH, corresponding to 13 September 2009 AD;

The proposal of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs; and

The draft Decree submitted by the Council of Ministers,

Hereby promulgate the following Decree:

Articles

Article 1

The Agreement between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of FiscalEvasion with Respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital, and the Annexed Protocol thereto, signed in Luxembourg City on 03 July 2009, copies of which are annexed to this Decree, are hereby ratified and shall have the full force of the law in accordance with Article 68 of the Constitution.

Article 2

All competent authorities, each within its jurisdiction, shall enforce this Decree which shall come into force from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
